Linio KYC require the following documents to open a shop

Your Valid Company Business Registration official document

A Valid scan of the owner’s ID or the owner’s Passeport

Your European VAT Number

Your Valid Phone Number. A representative of the marketplace might call you for a short interview

A Valid and signed Statuts of Incorporation

Payment Terms Linio


Cut Off is made every 12 days on the products shipped

Payment are done 7 days after this Cut Off on your Payoneer Account in Eur or in USD (at your choice).

Average Payment is between 20-30 days from the shipping date.

Return Policy Linio


For international products, Buyers have 14 business days to return the product (30 days for Linio Plus)

Returns can be temporarily stored at Linio Warehouse. Grouped, Packed and then shipped back.

Returns are free, the return costs are on Linio.

You need to ship out within 2 days max and insert the tracking the same day.

The buyer won’t accept any additional fees like custom fees or any other fees.

You need to deliver the buyer maximum within 10 days

The tracking need to be inserted ONLY when the order is shipped

The first 100 orders are very important: Backmarket will test your performances, your quality and will get some Buyer feedback.

The returns must be prepaid by the Seller when the Return is for a Defective product.

Tracking Number: You need to generate a valid tracking number for each of your orders and fill it with the right carrier when confirming the shipping of the product. As a security, please add this tracking number in a message on the order.

There are four minimum criteria you must meet if you want to be in the running :

  1. Buy Box eligibility status : if you don’t abide by our KPI requirements, you shall loose the BuyBox
  2. Your item must be new : Used items aren’t eligible for the regular BuyBox, though they can be sold on a separate Used BuyBox
  3. Availability : Without stock, the BuyBox will simply rotate to another seller
  4. You need to have generated a minimum of 20 orders to start competing for the BuyBox

The Shipping and Delivery Time

The overall performance of your account

To Avoid Account Suspension on Linio


Linio can suspend your account anytime if they consider that your performance or if your product selection violate their general rules.

According to C2Corner’s experience, we believe that Linio can suspend your account for the following reason (not limitative)

The quality of your products or the Condition of your product does not match with your listing

The claim Rate is over 5%

The Cancellation Rate is over 2%

The Return rate is over 5%

The delivery time is too long

The tracking are not moving

The buyer feedback is below 4,0/5

You don’t answer quickly enough to the buyer or you don’t solve the issues as fast as they request

If your account is suspended on Linio

In case your account is suspended for the first time, you will need to understand the main reason of your suspension and ask for a reinstatement

Here is the process:

  1. Analyze clearly your datas an identify the main reasons of your suspension on Linio
  2. Analyze if you are able to improve the situation with some clear actions
  3. Set up your action plan internally and test it
